Touching

Here's an interesting story about a study on how we perceive being touched.

The one thing I question is that I think you can tellthe difference between a woman's touch and a man's touch just by the feel of the hand.

I thought I'd see your reaction to the story.

  1. I'm not sure I can tell the difference between the touch of a woman or a man.

Once, blindfolded and tied, a man and a woman touched me, not at the same time.
I knew there were two different people and one set of hands were smaller and softer.. but it didn't cross my mind that one was a woman. Of course, I wasn't meant to be thinking along those lines at the time so .. would I have known?

Maybe Sir should try that and do an official test? Or not~!

  2. Hi, Thought provoking! I can only speak to my own experience but I think men and women touch differently. My husband radiates heat and when he places his hand on my legs or his arms around me I feel that heat. His arms are heavier and stronger.Maybe our perceptions can be challenged when we are blindfolded and we do not trust our sense of touch alone. Maybe Our brain helps us filter more than we realize.

    1. I do think men and women touch differently and the soft feel of a woman's hands is very distinctive.
