A size 16 model

One of my pet gripes is the way the fashion industry usually features skinny models who look like they have an eating disorder and need to eat a good meal.

That's why I like these pictures of a size 16 model, Robyn Lawley, modeling bras and panties and saying she's normal and that women her size shouldn't be called plus size. She said the skinny women should be called minus size. The obsession with skinny models also sends a bad message to young women who are healthy but feel they should lose weight.

Since I think women should be curvy, it'd be a positive step if the fashion industry would feature more models who look the way most women look. Here's the link:

I will be interested in your comments.

Did you know there's rare condition that causes some girls to be born without a vagina?

I never heard of this before but it turns out that one out of 4500 girls are born without a vagina.

The strange thing is that they look the same so they don't usually find out about it until they become teens and don't have periods. I can imagine it would be difficult to cope with this condition.

Have you heard of this condition?

Loud sex

I thought you would find this story pretty funny. A woman is having fun with her vibrator in her apartment and the neighbor complains and leaves a note on her door and then she leaves a reply. Here's the link:

Love Our Lurkers day

This is Love Our Lurkers Day, the day started by Bonnie at bottomsmarts.blogspot.com to encourage our lurkers -- those of you who read but never comment -- to come out of the shadows and join our community.

If you are here, you are interested in this lifestyle and bloggers love to have feedback. The more of us who share our thoughts, the better the community is.

This is a special day for me because I was convinced by Bonnie a few years back to stop lurking and sign up and start commenting. One thing led to another and soon, I was getting to know some of the people in our community and then was convinced to start my own blog.

So you have nothing to lose and much to gain. I hope to see some lurkers stop by and say hello. And maybe even consider doing your own blog.

I want to welcome you and encourage you to join our community.

Did you see this photo?

This photo snapped of a black guy falling asleep in the subway leaning against a Jewish man's shoulder has gotten a lot of attention. I thought I would share it with you.

Kissing

I thought you'd get a chuckle out of this story. A male actor said it's easier to kiss another male on screen because he doesn't have to be concerned about his wife being upset.

So the wife goes to the movie and sees the scene of him kissing a man and she said, "You've never kissed me like that.''

It doesn't say what his reply was but here's the link:
