I've heard of women posing for professional boudoir photos for the men in their lives. Have any of you done that?
Here's a story about women doing the photos in groups. Would be interested in your thoughts.

It's not something I think I'd plan or get folks together to do it, but I have no problem with the idea. Nick took some 'racy' photographs when we were first married - boy, I wish he'd taken more. There is one I want to have enlarged and framed and hung on our bedroom wall. By the time the grands come along they'll just think its a sexy bedroom picture, they'll never believe it's grandma.
ReplyDeleteI have done it for myself and some of the pics appear on my blog. I am very interested in photography anyway with a particular interest in portraits. I have mulled over the idea of doing boudoir shoots for my girl friends but never thought of doing a group shot though. I think that would be great fun!
ReplyDeleteI think so TOO... ;o)

Saw this on the Today show yesterday. Novel concepts, kind of like Calendar Girls with undies.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, that's interesting. I like the Boudoir photography and I'd like to do it but I'm not too interested in doing it with a bunch of other women. I guess I don't see the purpose or the appeal but hey if others like it, all the power to them.
ReplyDeleteI had boudoir portraits done many, many years ago. I can't imagine having it done with others in the pics though. Mine currently reside in our walk-in closet, didn't want to scar the kids if they stumbled into our room, lol :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting timing. I just went to a wedding where the bride gave the groom a set of boudoir photos as a wedding gift. She gave it to him at the church before the ceremony. :) Needless to say-- I think their marriage is getting off on the right foot.
