Are trophy wives a myth?

Here's an interesting article saying the whole concept of trophy wives is largely a myth. Don't know whether you agree or not.

    Oh they do indeed exist. In my line of work, I have seen plenty of them; the 45 year old husband of 8-10 years dumps his lovely wife of similar age for the 25 year old version.
