Did you read the FDA is on the verge of approving a pill to help women's sexual desire or Viagra for women. There is some controversy about how effective it is. I also think women's libido would be helped if the men in their lives are more sensitive to their needs.

So what are you thoughts? Do you have a problem with desire? Would you consider this pill?

I haven't seen research on how well it works over the long term, but a placebo has been shown to increase desire by 50%. That is, if you think you should be getting aroused that leads to a lot more arousal.
ReplyDeleteI did find a summary of the clinical trials. The lady "viagra" increased desire by 59%. If the placebo (sugar pill) increased enjoyment (or desire?) by 50% over previous experiences, that is only a 9% improvement, so not all that great.
