The risks of shaving pubic hair

Here's  an article saying that some women wind up in the ER from labia cuts from shaving their pubic hair. Yet it says 72 per cent of women still shave. I actually prefer the natural unshaved look and wonder if some day more women will go back to the natural look.

  1. When I was with my ex, I surprised him by shaving...he went ballistic. He said the shaved look reminded him of a little girl and he wanted a woman in his bed. Matthew also preferred the natural look. So do I...much less trouble. :) Have also read several articles that claimed that women who shaved were more susceptible to some infections.

    1. I grew up in an era when pubic hair was considered so erotic that Playboy couldn't show it. Don't know if that influenced me or not but I like the natural look. My girl doesn't shave. I also like her having her armpits looking natural. She let them become hairy but then asked if she could go back to shaving them. Now she let the hair grow grow out again because she knows I like it that way.

  2. LOL, public hair. I guess if it sends you to the ER, it's public.

I can't stand natural pubic hair, on either myself or Suzy. It's just unruly and uncivilized. But really it's more about going down on her. When untrimmed, the hairs get in my nose and irritate my face. I wouldn't mind a variety landing strip every now and then (Sexy!), but the labia definitely need to be shaved, with a patch that will keep anything from my nose. I take cunnilingus seriously! LOL

My skin is pretty sensitive, and I don't really like the totally shaved look on me. But I have to trim, otherwise it's just a horrible mess. Plus, it makes me look bigger.

  3. It sounds like being trimmed works for both of you.

  4. I like a modified shave and trim. Doesn't have to be complete.... Just cleaned up! I definitely shave most places, however whatever makes a couple happy is my motto!
