Anniversary

It was 2 1/2 years ago today and she became my good girl and we've had a wonderful time together. In one sense, it seems like yesterday. In another, it seems like we've always been together. She's brought me more happiness than I can imagine. And I hope I've done the same for her.

But it was a bittersweet day because she had to return home today. After 10 days, it was so difficult to say goodbye. Whoever said parting is such sweet sorrow had it all wrong. There is nothing sweet about parting.

Just a quite update to let you know my good girl are having a wonderful time together.

Call me Grandpa

Just wanted to pass along the news that I became a grandfather for the third time a few days ago.

My daughter and the baby, a boy, are doing fine although she need a C section. Now have two boys and a girl.

It's fun to know I'll have another grandchild to spoil. My daughter is in her late 30s and only was married a year ago New Year's Eve of 2011 so we weren't sure if she would have any problems but everything worked out fine.
