Sapiosexual

Have you ever heard of sapiosexual, which is being attracted to someone because of their intelligence.

A couple of bloggers have mentioned it recently and I found this definition?

    Absolutley, intelligence is a must, i love the fact that my Master is more academically intelligent than me, i like listening to and learning from him but then he is a fair bit older than me so i think there is also that element of being more experienced in life in general....which again i prefer personally.

    Im by no means stupid myself and am well educated but yes intelligence is a huge turn on more so than any physical trait.

    Florida Dom,

    I'm incredibly attracted to Daddy's intelligence. In addition to his being the CEO/President of his business for almost 30 years, he has lectured physics at the university level (the calculus/advanced math he can do would make your head swim, lol), he can and has built houses, including a solar home. He also can build furniture, work with any kind of engine (airplane and car), can weld, run machine shop tools, you name it, he can do it. He knows every kind of programming language, too. He's truly a jack of all trades. Alright, I'll stop bragging, lol!

    Agree with all the above statements! My hubby's intelligence and humor along with other attributes are what attracted me to him in the first place... High IQ can be sexy as hell. He's been in computers; programing, designing projects/systems, etc since the early 70's. As Kity's hubby, he can fix most anything including me. We balance one another, him logically, me emotionally.

    I've always been very turned on by intelligent men. Thankfully Sir is smart as all get out.
    I can't really imagine being interested in a dumb man~~it just wouldn't work for me.

    Hi FD. Just got back from vacation and I'm catching up on my blog reading.
    Since, Kitty, bragged about Daddy, I'm going to shamelessy brag about Scott. He has dual physics and aerospace engineering undergrad degrees. He went to the MIT Sloan School of Management and has dual MBA and master's degree in aerospace engineering. He, also, has a PhD in aerospace engineering. And, he's fluent in 8 languages. The man I was in a relationship before, Scott, was a pediatric neurologist. Yeah, I like them smart.

    What is funny is this was a topic of conversation the other day in my normal group of female friends...they all said I had a fetish because intelligence is seriously sexy...I find the show "The Big Bang" oddly arousing. It's nice to know there is a name for it :)

    I definitely love intelligence! If a guy can't hold an intelligent conversation with me, what's the point of being with him? And because I'm very smart and well-educated myself, it's a huge turn-on when a man can teach me something I don't know. :) Very cool topic, FD!
