Teens Ask Magazine to Stop Showing Photoshopped Models

I thought this was an interesting article showing how some teen women are aware enough to know that magazines running photos of women whose pictures have been photoshopped sends the wrong message to young women, especially ones concerned about their body image.

I think it is a good sign that some young realize how harmful some of the messages they get in the media can be. And it's good to see them being proactive on the issue.

  1. I think that is absolutely amazing. It seems as the years go on people become more fixated on appearances. Good for them!

  2. I think that is terrific. The media portrays an image that is unrealistic to the majority. IRL not everyone is pencil thin, has flawless skin, a perfect nose, etc. etc. etc.
