Dealling with Stress

We all have stress in our lives and I think blogging is a good way of dealing with it. We can be candid here about how lives, the good and the bad.

Anyway, saw this article in the N.Y. Times about dealing with stress. Simple things like breathing, taking a walk, riding a bike. I thought you might find it interesting. Here's the link:

I try to play a lot of tennis, which I think helps dealing with stress. Last week, played seven times. Don't usually get to play that often but try to play a few times a week.

  1. When stress hits me hard, I sew. Just for the joy of it, I go to my sewing room and create beautiful things. Who cares if I don't have a baby to wear the dress I just made. I can always find a young mother to give it to. Now that I have a business license, I sell the stress dresses and make a few dollars off of them.

And there is always the stress relief spanking or stress sex to take the edge off. And if that isn't enough we head to ice rink.

    1. You have some good ideas for stress relief. I am sure the young mothers love your dresses. And nice to make a few bucks while relieving stress.

  2. This is a perfect post for me today. I am in need of something for stress relief! Usually a good romp in the sack helps, but sometimes there is a need for relief in other ways.
    I need a hobby!

    1. Good luck in finding a hobby when you need something besides the good romp in the sack.

  3. Spankings and sex does it for me. Also walking or I put on my headphones, jump on my bike (stationary) and do a few miles.

    1. Ronnie: Spankings and sex are certainly good stress relievers. And a few miles on the bike is a good backup.

  6. a good spanking usually does it for me. And these days being sent to bed at my set bedtime...i think its that feeling of being taken care of, rather than me taking care of everyone else (and everything else for that matter).

    1. The combination of a good spanking and being sent to bed at your set bedtime sounds like a good combination.

  7. What a timely post! Stress is rampant this time of year.. too much to do and too little time.
I try deep breathing or fast walking but sometimes nothing really works.
Thankfully I can count on Sir to administer a remedy of his choosing when he knows I'm stressed beyond my control. I am very lucky~!

  8. I used to exercise and meditate to deal with stress. I should probably start again. Although sex has been a rather good stress relief for me lately.
