Love notes

When I left after my last visit to my good girl, I came up with an idea I wished I had thought of before. I left her four love notes saying simply, "I love you.'' Left one under her pillow and three more under things on her dresser. She didn't find them all at once so she loved it when she found each one.

I now just wish I had left more.

Crinoline cages

Here's an interesting article in the NY Times about a museum in Paris showing "Crinoline cages with their hints of perversity and domination'' back in the day. And men got into the act, too.

It also says that soft fabrics draped across the body in the era of ancient Greeks and Romans changed to structured clothing in the 14th century. But it is a mystery of why that happened. Anyway, here's the link:

Kink isn't new

I guess with the Internet, it's easy to find kinky people than it used to be. But it's not new. Look at this picture I found on tumblr that may be 100 years old of two women in chastity belts. And they each have a full bush back in the day before women started shaving. Here's the link:

College relationships

The New York Times created quite a stir this week with a story on college women at Penn, who are career driven and too busy for relationships. So when they are in the mood for sex, they text a guy and go to his place for a hookup. They go to his place so they don't have to wash their sheets. I thought that was an interesting touch.

Anyway, this story created much hand writing about women acting this way. So in the link I've provided, a woman defends them by saying most college men are much too shallow for relationships anyway so why should the women waste their time with them. It's obviously a complicated time to be in college, especially ambitious women at an Ivy League school.  Here's the link:

A woman fired for being beautiful

Here's a story about a dentist assistant who was fired because the dentist said she was too good looking and his wife insisted on it. And the courts upheld up. Hard too believe.

How often do you think about sex?

Saying goodbye

It was so difficult to say goodbye to my good girl yesterday after spending 10 wonderful days together. After we enjoyed three days at the resort hotel, we spent the rest of the time at her place. There were fun things like walking the beach, waking up and falling asleep in each other's arms, spankings and play time. And just quiet times like enjoying morning coffee together.

She now has quite a collection of seashells as a memory of our beach walks together. She was going to keep one for each walk but now she can't bear to throw the others out so she now has a collection to go with the memories.

And we even put a TV stand together. She joked we managed to do that without breaking up. You know how the instructions are to assemble things.

Anyway, as wonderful it was to be together, it makes being apart in an LDR so much more difficult.

But we have now spent 25 nights together and cherish all those sweet moments. Life doesn't get much better than to love and be loved.

Vintage beach wear

I checked weather.com this morning and they had 359 beach scenes showing beach wear mainly in the 1920s to 1940s before the bikini when women always wore a one piece that went to their mid thigh and men sometimes wore tops. The pictures are from all over the world.

In photo 103 it even shows a policeman in West Palm Beach measuring how many inches of her thigh that a woman's suit left uncovered. It's unclear if that was a law.

And they also showed something called a Skreenette when women could change in privacy on the beach. It is kind of a circular tube that seems to inflate.

So if you're spending some holiday time at the beach, I thought you might like a reminder of how times have changed.

Happy Fourth

Want to wish all of you in blogland a Happy Fourth. This is a special one for my good girl and I. We are in the 7th day of my 10-day visit. We are back from the resort but since she lives less than a half hour from water, we have continued to walk the beach every day. And, of course, there have been plenty of spankings. But the biggest treat of all is just getting to spend time together, which is precious when you are in an LDR. This is a Fourth I will never forget.
