Hefner's Kitchen

Most of you have heard of the Playboy Mansion and the life Hugh Hefner lives there with too many women to count.

But what count my eye is this story that he has a fully staffed kitchen 24 hours a day with top-notch chefs even though he is not that much of a gourmet eater.

I've often thought that being rich is overrated. Can you be happier in a mansion than a 2500 square
foot house? Does driving a Porsche instead of a Camry make you happier? The one advantage for me would be to have a private plane and not have to deal with TSA security. And the second would be the idea of having your own fully staffed kitchen. I would be eating a lot of lobster, dover sole, rack of lamb and veal francaise.

Anyway, here's the link. Don't know if you find this as interesting as I do but I thought I'd share it.

  1. Wow i think if i had the luxury of a full time chef i would be seriously overweight lol

I think most people dream at one time or another of what they would do if they won the lottery, for me it would be the luxury of being able to travel to all the many countries i would like to visit.

I dont think money makes you happy sure its nice to have and it does give opportunities, but i find it in bad taste to flaunt wealth un-necessarily. Its not how much money you have, but rather how much you value what you do have in your life and for me thats family.

  2. I'm not so in to accumulating things. The advantage of having enough money would be that Musicman and I wouldn't have to work. Then we would have plenty of time and energy to play :)

  3. Being rich doesn't necessarily bring you happiness. Far too much responsibility for other people outside your family. All those staffing issues!!!!

    1. Yes, the staffing issues would be a lot of responsibility. But then you could make one good hire and put that person in charge of staffing.
