A Sad Story

Here's a story about a 91-year-old widow who has to sell her possessions to raise $3000 to bury her husband of 46 years.

I wish social security covered burials in cases like this.  Here's the link:

    I am sure if she would call her local media stations with her story someone would step forward to assist.

    Dreadfully sad. I agree with sunnygirl .. local media might indeed help her.
    It shouldn't be this way to begin with.. that part is just plain wrong.

    Heard its been resolved.

    But still mouse wonders how many people that don't receive the media coverage when faced with similar decisions. It's just sad.
