Becoming a grandfather -- again

Good news. I just learned I will become a grandfather for the third time. For those of you who are grandparents, you understand that grandkids are the reward for raising your kids. You get to enjoy them without the hassle of raising them. Although you have to bite your tongue at time when you don't like their parenting style.

Anyway, my older daughter has two aged almost 10 and 11 and my younger daughter is due for her first in August. She's 38 and just got married a year ago New Year's Eve so at her age, we didn't know if she would be blessed with one.

Anyway, as the first two are starting to grow out of the Santa Claus stage, we get to enjoy that cycle again.

Now we just hope and pray that everything goes well and the baby is healthy.

    Congrats! My mom always told me that her father told her that when she had kids, he always said how much more awesome it is to have grandkids. You get to send them home at the end of the day. :)
