Father's Day

I love Father's Day. Not because I want anything but because I am not expected to do anything.

So all you spankos out there, what do you get the man in your life on Father's Day?

Well, I have just the thing for you. Do you know you can buy ping pong or table tennis paddles with the logo on your favorite NFL team on them?

That's the kind of paddle you can leave around the house and say it is just to recognize his favorite team. The non spankos in your life would never guess what it is really used for.

Now how can you beat that? (pun intended)!!!!!!

  1. I was real close to my Dad and Father's Day is always a little melancholy for me. I'm sure my Dad would have loved a ping pong paddle with his favorite NFL team on it! Of course, he would never have used it on my Mom ;)

  5. For Father's day, Master is getting a photo frame that is glass and engraved on it is a poem I wrote for him (from the kids of course). He's getting flowers on Thursday, Chocolates on Friday and a care package from home on Saturday (with things like an HDMI cable - he needs a new one, homemade cookies, cards made by each kid, and a few things he forgot that were around the house.

A paddle is a great idea, but since I won't be re-uinited with Master for another 6 weeks, I think I'll save that for a birthday gift :)

  6. Since my Mom is the more dominant one in the relationship, I don't think getting my Dad ping pong paddles would be a good idea. (Mom might decide to use them on him.) LOL We're having them over for dinner, since they enjoy my Sir's BBQ skills. Since Dad's health has not been the best in the last year, spending time with him has become very special.
    Happy Father's Day!

  7. My father was a wonderful if crazy man. Father's Day would usually find him working away in his woodworking shop.
I don't think he made paddles.. and I never saw him playing ping pong but I'm sure he could have made anything in the world. I treasure the animals he carved out of wood.. a nice bit of him to have in my house.

    Happy Father's Day, FD

  8. I used to love Fathers Day when dad was alive. Always treated him to a meal out or over to ours for lunch.

I do hope your kids give you something nice and you enjoy the day FD.
