Here are two videos and stories about Black Friday madness at two Wal-Mart stores in different parts of the country. I know I already did one post on Black Friday but I figured I would share these two stories if you missed them.
One about shoppers getting aggressive in getting $2 waffle makers and the other about a guy being tasered.

I refuse to step into a store on BF. I heard of one report of a woman pepper spraying a group of people over a TV on sale. Apparently she made her purchases, left the store and the police are still looking for her.
ReplyDeleteI cannot think of one thing worth going out in that madness.
ReplyDeleteYes Southern Sir and I am ashamed to say it hapened here in Florida. What the he** are people thinking??
ReplyDeleteHappy to say I didn't go near a store today.

Crazy. Our Walmart looked like the average payday. Busy but not what I would call madness. The only thing different? People were better dressed for the most part. I left the store with pony tail holders, lip gloss and Christmas light clips. No craziness, no crowd, no screaming or fighting.
ReplyDeleteSBF, I haven't watched the news tonight, so I don't even know if it was somewhere close to me.
ReplyDeleteBeen relaxing by a fire with a book most of the evening.
We saw nothing like that. But we did hear via twitter about the shopper who carried pepper spray ( and used it on fellow shoppers) hours before it was on the news. It seems more people think to post to twitter than think to dial 911.
ReplyDeleteThen again, maybe they figured why not since others probably did already.

We saw picture on the TV. Pepper spray and guns. Are the sales really that good.

Southern Sir: The pepper spray story is amazing. And relaxing by the fire seems good.
ReplyDeleteSunnygirl: Amazing that so many people do go out.
Dragon's Rose: Interesting that your Walmart wasn't crowded. Their stores seem to be magnets for this stuff.
Omega and Mouse: Interesting that people post on Twitter rather than call 911.
Ronnie: Crazy stuff goes on over on this side of the pond. But the good news is that sales were up 7 per cent so it's good for the economy.
SBF: Seems to happen everywhere.
