Meeting Kitty

One of the fun things about blogging is getting to know people in the lifestyle and making new friends who email and keep in touch.

And now for the second time, I’ve actually met one of the bloggers. Last fall, I met the lovely PK at elisnewbeginnings.blogspot You can click on her on my blogroll.

And yesterday I had lunch with Kitty and her Daddy and five of their children after trading emails with her since last November.
You can find her blog at:
As I was writing this, she posted her blog about our meeting.

We really had a fun time and I can start by telling you that Kitty is very well. For some reason, she’s gotten some Anonymous posts from time to time claiming her blog is fiction. I don’t know why some people are so small minded but they may be skeptical because she is something of a Wonder Woman, raising eight kids and home schooling them as well as having a wonderful relationship with her Daddy.

On top of all that she is a runner who keeps herself fit and looks more like her teen daughter's older sister than her mother.

If you’ve read her blog, the and Daddy fell in love when she was still a teen and yet these many years later, they still have that spark as you can tell by her blog. And seeing them with their kids, they are obviously good parents. Their kids were a delight to meet.

Anyway, it was great to meet the person behind the blog and if you don’t read her blog already, I hope you pop over and check it out. And read the chapters of “Our Love Story.’’ It would make a good book or move. She is truly blessed and I enjoyed meeting her and her family.
And, Kitty, it was good to hear you post that your first time meeting with someone from the blogging world was a great experience. It was for me, too.

  4. Dancing: Yes, you can make a strong connection to other bloggers. And it is nice to meet other bloggers. I've thought it would be fun if a half dozen or dozen bloggers who live within a couple of hours from each other could meet on some weekend.

  6. tori: There are some good bloggers in the UK so maybe you can meet one of them note. Put a note on your blog asking for UK bloggers to contact you.

  11. It was wonderful to see the picture of you and Kitty. I love that she posts real life pictures even if the faces are pixelated.
When you meet someone from blogland, do you share real names with each other? Did you know Kitty right away because of the red hair and all the kids? Lol.
