Olympic Swimmer Called Fat

I thought women who read my blog could feel empathy for this Australian Olympic swimmer who qualified for the Olympics and has aleady won eight medals was called "fat."

Another example of the way women are judged by their bodies. It's depressing. Here's the link:

At least she is getting a lot of support.

  1. Wow. Just wow. If a CURRENT Olympic athlete can take heat from the current standard-of-beauty, what hope do the rest of us have? Who's throwing these punches anyway? Seems like a lot of people miss the mark on what's important in life.

  2. It's so encouraging to know there are men like you in the world that don't judge women's various shapes and sizes so harshly. Thanks for sharing the link.

  3. No wander we have so many young girls with self esteem issues, worrying about their weight before they have barely reached their teens.

  4. I wish there was a magazine or newspaper brave enough to print pictures of women as they actually are in real life. Not Photoshopped.

Thank you for sharing the article.

Hope the people quit taking the paper for what they did to her.

  5. I agree with Heaher1 but the magazines/papers wouldn't sell.
