The Perils of Winning the Lottery

I assume none of the bloggers won the mega millions tickets that were sold in Illinois, Kansas and Maryland.
But here's some consolation for all of those who didn't win. A story on how winning can bring its own challenges.
Here's the link:
Still, I wouldn't mind dealing with the challenges that come with winning. I didn't buy a ticket although 100 million people did.

  1. I bought a ticket. Oh well. Guess my ranch and registered cows will have to wait until the next jack pot.

    1. The first thing on my wish list would be a private plane so I can go non stop when and where I want to and not deal with taking my shoes off for the TSA. Alas, I think I am destined to deal with the TSA.

  4. My son said it best, just a different set of problems waiting to rear their ugly heads. But like yourself I'll take those chances, and will try for the great win next time around.

  5. Florida Dom,

When I was growing up, I always hoped my mother and father would win the Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes. It never happened and the odds of me winning the lottery are extremely low, too.

I sure would love to win it, though:)!

    1. Kitty: I think the odds are about the same as the odds of getting hit by lightning. But we can all hope.

  7. No, We didn't win the lottery. We even bought tickets this time. LOL We never buy tickets because it is a waste of money. But we joke about winning the lottery all the time.

    1. Yeah, when it gets to $500 million or more, you kind of feel you should get in the game.
