Why We Fall Out of Love

I found this article about why people fall out of love.

I thought it was interesting. I am curious what your thoughts might be.

  1. It takes work to get a relationship going and to keep it going. When life gets hectic you forget to spend time together, you forget how you fell in love.

The best way to make sure you keep it going is to have a date night set every week. It doesn't have to be expensive. Time spent together is all you need. No kids, no friends.

  3. Rose: Yes, I think a date night is a good idea. So is a vacation without the kids. Kind of like a another honeymoon.

    Shoes: Yes, she did.

  4. Time alone together always helps when there is something to revive.
I don't really know what makes us fall out of love..certainly I've done it before.
    Thoughtful question as always, FD.

  5. Real relationships encompass the good, the bad and the ugly, how all those situations are handled is important. For us, good communication is the magic wand that fixes everything and a willingness to compromise when necessary. Just my opinion, but I have a 26 yr relationship to base it on.

  6. Hello Florida Dom,

I'm really happy to find you on the internet again. Perhaps are you not remembering Me, so let Me refresh your mind : Years before, I created a blog called "a master and his submissive journey". Then, I closed it when I decided to stop definitively My story with submissive t. Now, I've got a new submissive in My life. And, as females are females, she said 4 months ago "would you like to create a blog with Me my Master?" ... and I did.

That's why I'm back on blogs' world, why I'm happy to see that you're still online, and why I invite you to come and see My new blog called "piment et vanille".

    Wishing you the best.

  10. I've been married 26 1/2 years and it wasn't always a picnic, but Daddy is the perfect man for me. He's my best friend, my one true love, and I can't imagine life without him.

To me, it would not be possible to stop loving him. He's given me our beautiful children and a life that's a true joy because of how much he loves me.

    Love,
    Kitty

I do like the bit in the article about it being ok to change and become the person you really are. I think for SOME that is ok. Just not for me.
