Consent and the law in the UK

In the previous post, I linked to a story about a couple who were in public play and the woman was tied up naked in the backseat There were spotted and the police were called and they were arrested. You can read about it in the previous post.

Anyway, this is a link to painspleasure's blog about 16 gay men who were arrested and jailed in the UK in 1990 for consensual s@m activity which was videotaped.

Here's a link The Spanner Trust about defending the rights of sadomasochists of all sexual orientation and to reverse the UK court ruling. And it says a ban on extreme porn took effect in 2009.

Don't know what our friends across the pond think of all this. Of course, many bloggers just like to spank, but for those who engage in SM, it is a precautionary tale.
