Grading the Dresses

Do you agree with the grades these women got on their Oscar dresses. Don't know why they bothered with pictures of some of the guys in tuxes but maybe our women bloggers will like them. I was impressed at how good Jane Seymour looks at 61.

Let me know your opinions.

  1. I guess I have a different sense of style than most. I did not agree with a lot of the grades. I did take special notice of Kelly Ripa's dress, you could not see any nipple, LOL.

FD: Let me know if you got my address switch. I thought blogger would automatically redirect my followers but I guess not. Newbie mistake.

I have never been a follower of fashion myself though, i thought Angelina Jolie's dress was shapeless and Gwyenth Paltrow looked really nice but then what do i know lol

  3. dancing and pains: I also didn't agree with many of the grades. It's difficult to figure how they get those grades. And good line about not seeing Kelly Ripa's nipples.

And dancing, I found you again by just clicking on your name. Your post was so hot dancing that I think even my computer was smoking. LOL.

  4. Didn't see the Oscar FD and I didn't know they graded dresses for it. I do love to see men in tuxes.

  5. I NEVER agree with the clothing/dress grades, I'm 20 pics in and agree with maybe three of them. So far, all I really have to say? I love the dress Jessica Chastain is in.

I finished going through before commenting, so only have this to add: Nancy O’Dell's dress? Awesome, though I wish the black lace went down a bit further.

And I don't really get why the guys get included in the best/worst dressed lists, because I surely would rather check out what the women are in. Now maybe if you stuck them in some awesome hells, I might wanna bother with looking, but just a tux? Wow, surprising ~eye roll~

    1. heels, not hells.

And I don't particularly want to see guys in heels, but that's about the only way I'm interested in what men wore with their formal attire.

  6. Ronnie: Yes, grading the dresses is popular here.

girl: Yeah, don't know why they include the guys. A tux is a tux.

  7. I didn't even realize the Oscars were on last night until I saw someone mention it on Twitter today. I'm so out of the loop.

As for the dresses, eh. Not only do I not agree with the grades, I don't like most of the dresses, and the pictures aren't even flattering of most of the women.

If I had to choose a dress, I guess I'd pick the one near the end of Maria Manounos. I have no idea who she is, but I like the dress, I liked the way the strap-like things came up so it wasn't purely strapless-looking. I've never been a fan of strapless, and so few women look good in it, but almost all of them wear it.
