A Different Thanksgiving

This is really a strange year trying to stay safe in the middle of a pandemic and deciding what is the best way to stay safe.

I scheduled a tennis match with three friends. Playing tennis is something I do most days and is a safe activity. Outdoors just four people, no masks but social distancing since only two people on each side of the court.

So was able to set up a match for Thanksgiving day with three friends who didn't have plans. One of the women thought that having our Thanksgiving dinner next to the court on a grassy patch would be perfect. Eating inside with four people from four different households is frowned on.

We play on a court in our neighborhood that is usually free. She said she would make the turkey and dressing and we would bring sides and we would social distance while we ate. So we played three sets of tennis while the food was staying warm with steno cans. Of course, it helps that we were doing this in Florida where the weather is still mild in late November but it worked out great, we had a great meal and played one more set of tennis.

I hope by next year the pandemic is under control and we can have a normal Thanksgiving but I think we made the best of a bad situation this year.

Sex blankets

 Have you ever heard of sex blankets? I hadn't either until my good girl started looking for one because the sheets were getting wet when she squirted. Kind of sexy although it does create a mess although there are no stains and it just dries.

Basically, they're waterproof blankets but sex blankets has a better ring to it. And they work.

So for all the squirters out there, I recommend them. You don't read much about squirters so I don't know how many there are out there.

Hello again

 Remember me?

It has been much too long since I last wrote. For an update, my good girl and I have been living together with her two puppies for almost six months.

Mergering two households has been a challenge. We still haven't cleared out the garage and a storage shed of all the stuff she brought with her (filling to pods) has been but it has been been a time of bliss to live together after being in a long distance relationship all these years.

The timing has been good and bad. She got here just before things shut down but on the other hand, we didn't expect our first six six months to be spent mainly staying safe. We still haven't eaten in a restaurant or gone to a movie and I still haven't had a haircut but we are staying safe. But I am playing a lot of tennis and she is learning how to play.

I like to go to estate sales (go to estatesales.net if you want to see what is available in your area) or garage sales for various trinkets. One is a sign that says As Long as We Are Together, Everything Will Fall in place. And she gets good spankings.

That is our motto these days.

And hello again to all the friends I met here, including PK, who set up this blog for me. Without this blog, my good girl and I would have never met.

More married women than men report they are satisfied with their sex lives

According to a recent survey published in the Washington Post, married women report greater satisfaction with their sex lives than men.
Don't know what to make of that but I thought I'd pass it on.
Curious what my readers think. Hopefully I still have readers since I haven't posted very often lately.

My good girl is a lawyer

I know it is forever since I have written but I couldn't really write about the main thing in our lives the past few months. After she was downsized, she decided to take the bar exam about a decade of graduating from law school and deciding she didn't want to practice law.

She decided that she would try to pass the bar to make her more employable. Finding a new job
in your 50s isn't easy. So she took an online refresher course which meant months of being at the computer 12 hours a day or so. Of course, this cut back on our play time when I did visit and even having play time on the phone. She was too focused on studying and I understood.

But I didn't want to write about it if she didn't pass. Well, I have good news. She PASSED and
was sworn as a lawyer recently. I can't tell you how proud I am of her. I've always loved the dynamic of have a smart woman who is submissive because so many people think submission is a weakness but it is really a strength that she is willing to give herself to me.

And we have started to play more and she has felt the sting of the riding crop, which is usually part of our foreplay. She even likes to feel that sting between her legs. So we are having good times again.

 Meanwhile, we are now making plans for her to move here to Florida with her two dogs by next year. We did spend about four months together last year after I had surgery to clear out an artery and we both want to live together instead of just visiting.

We are looking forward to that future and I hope I still have some readers after being away for so long. Will now try to post more and again interact with my fellow bloggers.

Panty list

We have our rituals and one of them comes at the start of the month when I send her the panty list she is to wear for the month. I just finished it for April and thought I'd share it.
She likes knowing she is wearing the panties I picked out for her and reminds me near the end of the month that she needs a new list.

New book on female sexuality

I was browsing the new books section at the library the other day and came across a book entitled: "Untrue: Why nearly everything we believe about women, lust and infidelity is wrong and how the new science can set us free."
It was written by a woman -- Wednesday Martin -- with a PhD from Yale so it is a serious book.
It talks about sexuality thousands of years ago and says the invention of the plough was bad for women's sex lives. Sounds crazy but the thesis is that men being stronger were better at using a
plough and women became more dependent.
Another theme is that women are wired for variety in sex.
One interesting quote: "Men are more likely to report that they are sexually satisfied if they get sex reguarly from their long term partners, women are another story."
It says married women who seek new men in their lives "aren't looking for an exit strategy or a new husband." What they were looking for was "great sex."
And the author questions the thesis that men have stronger sex drives than women do.
A review by the Atlantic says the book is "part anifesto, part cultural anthropology, part literary criticism, part memoir."
It says the book "veers in a number of directions in pursuit of proving Martin's thesis, but never abruptly or in an order that feels jarring."
My take on all this is that what many women needs are husbands who are more attentive to their needs in the bedroom.
Anyway, I thought I'd bring it to you attention. It came out last September but I didn't hear about it at the time.

Old spanker learning new tricks

Collared

One of the highlights of our holiday together is that I presented her with a collar. It is made of leather with a silver circle in the middle. Found it at a department store so it looks vanilla enough that she can wearit outside the house but the great thing is that she loved it and only takes it off when she showers. I love seeing her wearing it. One of my things I like is marking her but my ideas haven't worked too well.. Writing on her body with a magic marker didn't work because it came on her clothes. A string around her chest was irritating. And not having her shaves her pits only works in the winter. But I think this collar is going to work out well.

Belated Happy Holidays

Sorry I didn't wish you all happy holidays sooner. One of my New Year's resolutions has to be to blog more often and stay in touch with my old friends. Hard to believe I've been on here since 2006.
I spent Christmas with the kids and grandkids. Two of the grandkids are two and five and so much fun to be with the little ones who still believe in Santa and put out cookies for Santa and a carrot for Rudolph. Fortunately, we had rain but not snow. Living in a southern climate the last 17 or so years, I've gotten spoiled not having to deal with snow.
After a week I flew back home for a day and then left to spend New Year's Eve with my good girl. And her two dogs. The fouro of us welcomed in the new year on the couch. The two dogs have different personalities. One wants to be at one end by himself. The other one wants to be sharing our space. Being in the eastern time zone, we welcome it in twice. They show the ball dropping at Times Square live at 11 pm local time and then we did it again an hour later. Didn't like the bigger ball that doesn't seem to drop.

Sex for 365 days in a row

Saw an article about a woma had her third kid and wan't feel very sexy and her solution was to have sex every day for a year. Of course, her husband was on board with the idea and she said they did it and had many positive benefits and it helped her feel better about herself.
Can anybody imagine really doing this?

Happy Thanksgiving

Sorry I haven't posted in ages, but wanted to wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.
I will be spending the day with my good girl and we will be giving thanks that we found each other. Counting her two dogs, there will be four of us and they will want much attention as they always do.
If the weather is OK, Simone -- a pit mix -- will be eager for a walk and looking for squirrels.
Jett is an older dog we found at a rescue like Simone, a lab mix we fear was abused because he runs the other way if he sees the the leash so he is not ready for walking. We hope we will earn his trust and will be going on walks by next Thanksgiving.
Again, hope the holiday finds all of you well. I don't post often enough but think of the friends I've made here often.

It's a dog's life

I never had much interaction or much interest in dogs. Our daughters had a cat growing up but cats are independent. The whole walking the dog thing didn't appeal much to me.
And then my good girl found a mixed pit at a shelter about a year ago and I found out why they call dogs man's best friend.
She loves to lay on her back and get belly rubs and lick your face and often wants to play. She has a ball slightly smaller than a basketball with ridges she can sink your teeth into and she wants you to try to pull it away from her which is almost impossible.
And she is smart and knows what she is supposed to do. She never climbs on our bed, for example, and she didnt take long to get housebroken. Once we started letting her sleep in a doggy bed at the foot of our bed, she used to wake up and come to my good girl's side and one of us would get up and take her out. But a couple of times, she just said go back to bed and Simone did. Now she stays in her bed until we get up.
But she will try to get away with things she knows she is not supposed to do if she thinks she can. She often has a rash on her lower belly and the vet hasn't been able to figure out the cause. Meanwhile, she likes to lick it, which we don't think is a good idea, but if we're not looking, she will. And we just say "hey" and she immediately stops. Or if she starts barking at a dog on the other side of the fence. When we open the door and say get in here, she immediately runs to the door but she seems to figure she will do it until we we tell her to stop.
And all bets are off when she sees a squirrel. She will pull on her leash trying to chase it. Of course, the squirrel just climbs a tree and all she can do it get up on her hind legs and look up at the tree. She can't figure out she will never catch one.
There are times my good girl and I disagree on dog parenting. Some days she doesn't each much and my good girl gets concerned. Maybe she is tired of the dog food or whatever. But I say no dog is going to starve when food is available even if she would prefer treats.   
Anyway, I was dubious about the idea of getting a dog, but have to admit she is fun to have around.

Pajama Man

I am spending three weeks with my good girl while she works on a big project and I am keeping your lovely dog Simone busy so she doesn't distract my good girl. So not much to report on the kinky front. But there has been one change. I am now wearing pajamas. I hadn't worn them when we've been together in the past. But her niece was visting and while I planned to get dressed before I left the bedroom in the morning, we just felt it would be more appropriate if I wore pajamas. You know in the unlikely event there was some kind of an emergency and I didn't have time to get dressed.
To my surprise, my good girl said I looked "distinguished'' coming to bed in pajamas. And so I am now wearing pajamas. Have to like that distinguished look, I guess. If they're good enough for Hugh Hefner, I guess they are good enough for me.

That was the email saying Happy Sub Day I got from a sub shop offering me a free sub on my birthday. Too bad they didn't send the same message to my good girl whose birthday is one day before mine. I guess I can't expect a Happy Dom Day email.

Did you see somebody ordered a cake for a graduate at Publix -- big supermarket chain in southeast -- and ordered Summa Cum Laude written on it. They wrote with frosting Summa - Laude and left out the word cum. What is wrong with these people. I never thought of the phrase in that way. And the chain also gave big bucks to a NRA booster running for governor and is now being boycotted. I hope the Parkland kids make sure he doesn't win. By the way, the guy wearing the If You Put My Meat in your Mouth you'll swallow" or something like that was in Publix. Strange times.
